here’s what that superman drawing last night was a warm up for. the doug wright awards are holding an art auction this year and the theme was “supervillains.” i colored the piece for fun. i wasn’t really sure what to draw, so i drew venom? how do people draw spiderman’s webs without making them look awful? thankfully, seth, kate beaton, zach worton and others will also be contributing original pieces to the auction, and their’s will probably not be this idiotic

also, i think it goes without saying that this drawing owes a large debt to jonny negron, who is my favorite jonny
